Gold and Silver Urn

The atmosphere was heavy and it was pitch black outside. This frightened most of the townsfolk but some of us took advantage of the dreary nights. We knew that we could be out in the murkiness without any harm being inflicted upon us. We had a special means of navigation during this flood of evil.

Those of us who were in search of hidden treasures...found them. I wouldn't say it was easy to find them but as we helped each other with our knowledge of secret things, we were enabled to make great discoveries. It was like each one of us had been given portions of a colossal size puzzle and as we put the pieces together, hardly any good thing was left unavailable to our searching hearts.

Because we tried so hard to out give one another, with the many nuggets of gold in our possession, not one amongst us was left empty handed. It was as if we had been granted a Giant GOLD and SILVER URN that kept pouring into and filling our cups. It occurred to each one of us that we were obtaining more things of lasting value during this time of tribulation than we ever did when things were calm and non urgent. The troubled times had actually caused the blessings to flow.

1 Tim. 6:17-19 "Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not high-minded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; [18] That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; [19] Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life."
