Major Changes Ahead?

The following vision was given to Evangelist Dick Mills, now about age 77. He is a highly respected evangelist with a prophetic anointing who has had a widely credible ministry for several decades. His June 1999 newsletter contains a fascinating article by David Michael, presumably a colleague. I know Dick Mills would not publish his article unless he felt good about it.

In the article, Michael states: "Years ago I had a vision from the Lord in which I saw a dreadful, terrible turn that the world took around the turn of the century. I absolutely know that what I saw was within the three-year period of 1999, 2000 and 2001. Not before, and not after. I also vividly recall that the world was NEVER ABLE (his emphasis) to get back the way it had been before, and people were chagrined, disturbed, grieved, apprehensive and disappointed with these drastic changes. But what I saw was so major that it would more likely be caused by a global war, a worldwide financial collapse, a worldwide explosion of nuclear or chemical terrorism, or some horrific, dreadful military, political, or environmental occurrence which permanently altered the world."

The above quote is in context with his article about Y2K, and he expresses doubt that Y2K is what causes it, although he admits that a chain reaction from Y2K could make it possible. Michael says, "I am one of those persons who is not at all convinced that the coming global trouble might not happen BEFORE (his emphasis) January 2000..."

Note from Robert Holmes, list moderator:

This is not an isolated vision. Other people have had similar ones. This is one more of many biblical and supernatural indications that the end of the Gentile Age is imminent. During a recent staff meeting at Storm-Harvest we asked the Lord about Y2K and what to do about it. Part of the reason we moved to the country was because we felt (and still feel really strongly) that we are to prepare "an island of refuge in a sea of trouble". We are not running from the problems of the world - rather we are preparing to help those who later will not know how to survive. The Lord's reply was simple: "Y2K is not THE issue". His emphasis was on the fact that while Y2K may be AN issue it was not central to our preparations, ministry trips, itinerant ministry, publishing or preparation here in the countryside of New South Wales for disaster, etc. Bless you all RH
